Privacy Policy
The Short Version
We collect the information you give us through forms and calls, plus standard analytics about how people use this site. We use it to answer your enquiry, deliver our services, and improve our marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form, book a call, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business or trade, city, and anything you type into the message field.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time on page, through cookies and similar technologies.
Client account data. If you become a client, we access the advertising, analytics, and CRM accounts needed to do the work, under the permissions you grant.
How We Use It
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you asked for.
- To follow up about your enquiry by email, phone, or text.
- To measure and improve our own marketing, including which ads and pages produce enquiries.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Analytics and Advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which ads produce enquiries. These services set cookies and may collect device and usage data. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own policies, and you can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can control ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings.
If we later add other advertising or analytics tools, this page will be updated to name them.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for essential site function and for the analytics and advertising measurement described above. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for how to interpret them.
Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed. These include our website host, our email provider, Google (analytics and advertising), and GoHighLevel, the CRM platform we use to manage enquiries and client communication.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise it. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. If you want your information deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it unless we are required to keep it.
Your Rights and Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of our marketing at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect, the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@helixedge.io. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Links
This site links to other websites, including our booking platform and external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of sites we do not control. Read their privacy policies before giving them information.
Where We Operate
HelixEdge is based in Mississippi and serves clients across the United States. Information we collect is processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our tools or obligations change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here, so check back if it matters to you.
